Two weeks ago, I happened to stumble upon a new listing from Jacki of ChristieCottage right here on ArtFire. The listing was for handmade custom jewelry bags made from recycled paper that was saved from the shredder. I LOVE the idea of recycling something like paper into such a useful design as the custom bags!

I saw . . . I ordered. The bags must have gotten here on a rocket ship because, before I knew it, I was opening the package to find the fabulous bags, fifty bags at 4.75" x 6", perfect for earrings. Jacki also graciously included 5 larger bags at 5" x 8". As you can see, they are printed with my avatar, ArtFire studio address, my email address and "Custom Orders Welcome". I absolutely love them and can't wait to use them in a couple of weeks at my first Spring arts festival of 2014. I think they definitely personalize a sale and help for the business name to be remembered. The only thing I will do differently when I place the next order is to use my "Shadow Dog" logo that is on my banner and business cards. I love my avi, my sweet Mesa who we lost almost two years ago, but I think my "Shadow Dog" logo looks more professional.
