Art! Jewelry! Pillows! Baby Booties! Chain Maille! All this and more can be found on this week's installment of Fabulous Friday Finds on ArtFire. All of these items were found when browsing through studios, looking at tweets, found in collections, found in the item of the day or found in the various promo groups I belong to.
So, without further ado, here are this week's Fabulous Friday Finds:
Just how cute is this original baby barn owl painting by Chris of GildedOwlJewlery? Along with beautiful jewelry, Chris is now is offering original paintings.
Ahhhhh . . . . Ethiopian opals! Just imagine how these stunning earrings by Margaret of BohoWireWrapped must glow when worn!
Can you say "CUTE!"? These baby booties, made from cream colored felt with hand embroidered daisies, were created by Jacki of ChristieCottage
This purple amethyst, green aventurine and copper necklace was inspired by the penstemons that grow wild in the mountains of Colorado where Pamela of PebblesatmyFeet lives
I picked this amazing chain maille coif with mantle because, if you have ever done chain maille, you know how many meticulous hours were spent creating something like this! The coif and mantle was made by Julie of JKindtMetalworks
Love the cheerfulness of the multi-colored dragonflies against a pink background! This handmade pillow cover, by Jr and Linda of JrsPillowsandandBags, will definitely spruce up a room!
If you want fun and funky, these bold sterling silver tribal fish design earrings are for you! The are an original design, created from sterling metal clay, by Roxanne of ShanghaiTai
My avi, Mesa, was part Australian cattle dog (blue heeler) so I am very attracted to this - so many times she looked at me with the exact expression shown in this print. Dottie of LarkStudios captured the hopeful soul of a blue heeler perfectly here.
Talk about hot, hot, HOT! Appropriately named "Fire in the Mountains", these glowing dichroic glass dangle earrings were created by Jo of Umeboshi
Take me to the tropics! I can almost smell the heady scent of plumeria when I look at this beautiful quilted wall hanging by Ann of PutnamLakeDesigns
This stunning dragon cuff bracelet was a mother/daughter collaboration. Zoraida's daughter, Sam (tatsushop.artfire.com), drew the dragon directly onto the metal and then Zorida etched and formed the cuff! It can be found in the studio Zoraida
I started off with an owl . . . and decided to end with one. The beeswax owl votive candle sitting in a sea urchin ceramic pinch pot holder sure has a wise look! The candle was created by Suzzannemarie of BeeNaturalHawaii from Kauai beeswax!
There you have it . . . the second edition of Fabulous Friday Finds on ArtFire. I hope you enjoyed looking through the features as much as I did finding and sharing them. If you would like to make my day, please leave a comment. Any promo that can be done will be greatly appreciated by all artists showcased! Thanks!
